Speed up startup

..Windows Xp always makes some delay in startup loading...
you may speed up startup by deleting unwanted services from msconfig...but still delay

might not be solved.
How ever better time is observed if you clear the pagefile memory and prefetch directory

when shut down....
To make this step performed automatic at each shut down you have to make a registry edit

follow the steps
1.In run command type REGEDIT
now u get the registry editor window
2.Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
3.Find Key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory

Management
4.Create a new DWORD value "ClearPageFileAtShutdown"
5. Set the value of ClearPageFileAtShutdown=1 for clearing page file and

ClearPageFileAtShutdown=0 to disable the feature
6.exit editor and reboot
