You can make, prevent other users from using the registry editing or updating.
For a more secure environment you can make these settings active.
We saw the Registry Editing Hacks...now you can make these settings from another application Policy Editor.
When your system is affected by trojans or some viruses you can see that registry, commandprompt,taskmanager etc is disabled.You can restore this using Policy Editor.
Policy Editor Application(gpedit.msc) resides in System32 folder.
To make the above setting follow the below steps:
1.Type "gpedit.msc" without quotes in Run command
you get the policy editor Window.
2.Navigate and find the Part : User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System
3.Select the Setting "Prevent access to registry editing tools" and double click to the properties.
4.Set it Enabled and Apply.
5.After the next login You can see the change
6.If You want to Disable it,set the property as Disabled.
7.Exit the editor
