In Windows XP search feature could be used to find files on computer.But when You click on
"Start Search" you find it very slow to get the search completed.We can optimize the search
function and so that searches becomes more faster and reliable.
For this We have to make a registry Edit
1.In run command type REGEDIT
now u get the registry editor window
2.Expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USER
3.To make changes, navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
4.Edit and set the values of following Values as indicated:
SearchSystemDirs=1
SearchHidden=1
IncludeSubFolders=1
CaseSensitive=0
SearchSlowFiles=1
5.Close the editor and find the difference
